Gospel artist, David Wonder opens up about their debt to Bahati and how it will be paid up.

EMB records has not had the best of the year 2019 with artists´ exiting, war of words witnessed and exposes that did not leave the gospel artists´ names as clean.

Main battle having been debts that haven´t been paid up.

With artistes alleging that the CEO, Bahati failed to honor their contracts even mistreating the youthful artistes.

On the founder´s side, the artistes owed him a lifetime´s worth of money that they till date, have not paid up.

David Wonder, Mr Seed, Weezdom and Bahati are the names that have been making the headlines with scandals day in, day out.

However, after much denial and accusations, youthful talented gospel artist, David Wonder now speaks up on the issue to ´Pulse Magazine´.

An investment was made.

However, I am not sure of the figure because when working we didn’t really put everything we did on paper.

It’s true we owe him. I can’t agree or disagree with the figure but we owe him some money.

The ´Washangaze´ singer fortunately disclosed that a payment plan was in place to ensure that the EMB CEO, Bahati had his money refunded.

All the songs we did while at EMB are registered under the label so the revenue that comes from the songs goes directly to them.

According to the contract, the label was to own all the rights to the songs till they recovered the amount invested.
