Country Boy teams up with Young Lunya and Zima Olaitan on ‘Tell Em’ and it’s dope (Video)

Country Boy, who is arguably one of the illest rappers in Tanzania at the moment, has dropped a new joint alongside his country mate Young Lunya and Nigeria’s Zima Olaitan and it’s getting a lot of love from their fans.

The song dubbed, Tell Em which is a corruption of the English words Tell Them, has been ruling the airwaves since it was released a few days ago and understandably so.

Zima Olaitan

Basically, this jam, which is off Country Boy’s Yule Boy album, is about how far he has come and how he’s continuing to scale great heights. It could also be about him rubbing it on the face of his haters, I honestly don’t know.

What I know is that Tell Em sounds very pleasant to the ears. If you’ve been a fan of Country Boy for as long as I have then you know this is the truth even before you listen to it.

Young Lunya

Country Boy’s lyrical prowess is on another level. He’s not your ordinary rapper. This guy has a unique ability to play around with words make dope rhymes and believe you me, it’s an enviable trait.

The chorus for this jam is infectious and we have Zima Olaitan to thank for that. His Nigerian accent and lyrics really switched things up so much so that you will be stuck listening to the chorus for a long time.

Young Lunya also did a good job on the hook for this jam. However, I feel that it should have been longer because he just says “Let them know, let them know” and that’s it.

The beat is dope and catchy. To add to that, it blends so well with the styles of the rappers as well as their tempos and it kind of makes you wish that the song was longer.

The video execution was also also dope, especially the drone shots when they were atop a skyscraper. I totally loved it even though it’s not really a new idea.

Watch Tell Em below and tell us what you think.
