Costa Titch’s Mother Alleges He Was Poisoned

The mother of South African rapper Costa Titch has alleged that her son was poisoned, and is calling for help to get answers.

Costa Titch, whose real name is Constantinos Tsobanoglou, died on March 12, 2023, while performing at the Ultra music festival in Johannesburg. He was 28 years old.

Titch’s mother, Maria Tsobanoglou, has taken over her son’s Instagram account and has been posting updates about the investigation into his death. In a recent post, she alleged that her son was poisoned and that the National Health Laboratory Services (NHLS) is taking too long to release the test results.

“The NHLS can take months or even years to finalize toxicology tests,” Tsobanoglou wrote. “This means I am not the only mother in South Africa that has to wait for answers. It also means if anyone did poison my son, they could get away with murder.”

Tsobanoglou is pleading for help to get answers about her son’s death. She said that even the police cannot do anything without the medical results from the NHLS.

“I’m pleading for help to get answers,” she wrote. “Please, if you know anything about what happened to my son, come forward.”

The NHLS has not yet commented on Tsobanoglou’s allegations.

Costa Titch was a rising star in the South African music scene. He was known for his unique blend of amapiano and hip hop music. His death was a shock to the South African music community.

Tsobanoglou’s family is still grieving his death. They are hoping that the investigation will provide answers about what happened to their son.
