Comedian Flaqo Explains How Andrew Kibe’s Criticism Helped Him Grow His Brand

In a recent interview on the Iko Nini podcast, comedian FlaqoRaz shared how he has used criticism to grow his brand. He said that as a content creator, it is important to learn to balance love and life, but to separate your personal relationships from your work.

FlaqoRaz recalled a time when he was trolled by Andrew Kibe about his relationship with content creator Keranta. He said that he could have easily overreacted, but he chose to take the criticism in stride. He explained that he looked at all aspects of the situation and decided that it was safe to go public with his relationship because his comedy characters and Keranta do not relate and they know nothing about each other.

Flaqo also said that he gets hate and criticism in his comedy, but he has learned to address it better as he has grown and understood himself. He said that he believes that there is usually some truth in all those hateful comments, so he looks at them with a pure heart.
