Challenge! KFCB Boss, Dr Ezekiel Mutua now floats a whooping Ksh 1 M for artistes who hit the 1 M subscribers mark
Just yesterday, media ethics´ chiefwhip, Dr Ezekiel Mutua set the bar for local artistes tabling an offer of Ksh 1 M to any artist that hits 1 M subscribers mark on You Tube, from positive content.
May the 7th, 2019, the KFCB Boss only offers the massive bill to artistes who are out to generate educative and informative content.
He shares:
The Board has announced a One Million for One Million Campaign dubbed “M4M” which will seek to award
@YTCreators who reach the 1M subscribers on their channels by posting positive messages with Ksh. 1M to establish online business & create employment through clean entertainment.
This might be in a bid to censor and call off the ill content that young talents are producing just for fame and the money.
Well, the bar has been set pretty high.
History
The media ethics´ trailblazer might have on numerous occasions rubbed shoulders with upcoming and promising talents but he shares a different side of himself too.
He just celebrated online comedian, Henry Desagu because of the kind of content he impacts society with.
Comedian @HenryDeSagu, the witty, humorous and funny man from Mwihoko Code 254 has this morning received the Silver Creator Award for attaining the 100k subscribers mark on his @YouTube channel. He has not built this milestone on dirty content. He has done through clean content. pic.twitter.com/tBIqjc5pJI

Henry Desagu who started from the roots and now brags of 100 K subscribers, recently bagged the coveted Silver Creator Award because of his brains.
Dr E Mutua was not left behind after gifting him Ksh 200 K because he is impressed by the young talents work of art.
He fits our campaign on clean content under the mantra #CleanIsCool and therefore @InfoKfcb is pleased to give him support of Ksh200,000 to buy better equipment to improve on the quality of his uploads. pic.twitter.com/yZdUJHZ5UM

Dr E Mutua has put it clear that he is not out to nail down young talents but seeks to ensure that the youth are up to the task in the kind of content they are impacting society with.
Challenge
The KFCB chairperson has therefore floated a whooping Ksh 1 M for upcoming talents whose music content is for the good of all.
However, that might not be as easy as A..B..C, International artistes the likes of Diamond Platinumz might have been among the few who scooped 1 M plus subscribers.
Getting awarded Ksh 1 M for amassing such a crowd is worth it and probably calls for more, and by the time one is hitting the 1 M mark, You Tube itself cashes in money for you.
1 M subscribers is on another level, that we have to admit.
It is definitely a hefty task but let´s wait and see who comes out a millionaire.
Who´s up for the challenge?
