Despite not being entirely ready for another pregnancy, Carrol embraced it when it happened, especially after the loss. She explained that her daughter, Keilah, is a “rainbow baby,” a term used for a child born after a previous loss.
“It wasn’t planned. My pregnancy wasn’t planned, but I feel like on the other side it was. When it happened, it didn’t shock me. It was a relief because I had lost one before… I was like, at least nimeweza ku replace kale kenye nilipoteza (I was able to replace the one I lost),” she revealed.
