Capital FM presenter Sean Cardovillis to be cremated

At a private family ceremony in Nairobi, the body of sports journalist Sean Cardovillis is scheduled to be cremated.

According to his family, the occasion will occur on September 14, 2023, on a Thursday.

The family further disclosed that a memorial service will be held in Nairobi on September 22 beginning at 10 am at Consolata church.

The memorial event will provide the famed sports broadcaster’s loved ones, coworkers, and supporters a chance to commemorate and honor his life.

Cardovillis, a dynamic sports reporter well-known for his work, passed away on September 9 at his home in Westlands, Nairobi.

His death’s cause has not yet been made public.

In a message, his family expressed their appreciation for the outpouring of love and support they have seen from the public during this trying time.

“Following the demise of our beloved Sean, we, the family, are humbled by the outpouring of love, words of encouragement, and willingness to assist with Sean’s arrangements. There will be a private family send-off in the week. Details for a memorial service will be announced shortly. Thank you for understanding and respecting our privacy.”

The family also highlighted how crucial it is for the general public to comprehend and respect their demand for privacy.
