The digital age means no information is private and anyone regardless, has access to your personal data and everything about who you are. Unfortunately, technology has seen individuals go the extra mile to impersonate even children who are not their own just for the likes and clicks.

We don’t need to look far. Kenyan film-star, Brenda Wairimu was the latest victim of impersonation after coming across an online photo similar to that of her baby’s legs when she was 6 weeks old.

Popular Tanzanian MC, comedian and TV personality, MC Pilipili had screen-grabbed a photo of Brenda’s young baby’s feet, with conspicuous lip kisses on the soles and captioned;

A post that was put up around yesterday as the MC announced to fans that he had finally welcomed his newborn and an unsettled Brenda commented; “This is very strange. This is my picture, these are my daughter’s feet.”
