Kenya brace yourself for a mostly dry week, with sunshine dominating most regions from January 23rd to 29th. But don’t put away your umbrellas entirely! Pockets of light to moderate rain might sprinkle the South Rift Valley, South-eastern lowlands, Central Highlands, Western Kenya, and the Coast.

Sun worshippers along the Coast, North-eastern, and North-western Kenya rejoice! High daytime temperatures above 30°C are expected, promising a warm embrace. Remember, though, to stay hydrated and sun-protected to avoid the scorching sun’s sting.

“High daytime temperatures above 30°C anticipated for the Coast, North-eastern, and North-western Kenya. Embrace the warmth, but stay hydrated and sun-protected in these regions,” the statement read in part.

Central Highlands residents, be prepared for a different kind of extreme: chilly nights! A few areas might experience low average temperatures dipping below 10°C. So, grab those extra blankets and sweaters for cool evenings.

Stay updated on the latest weather forecasts, especially if you’re travelling or participating in outdoor activities. Remember, even during dry spells, local conditions can change quickly.
