B Classic Cleared of Ksh 20 Million Debt

Singer B Classic has broken his silence after parting ways with his former record label, Champions Studio. Starting the year afresh, the artist has returned to his official social media accounts.

B Classic, who left the label citing irreconcilable differences, expressed gratitude towards his former team for forgiving a substantial debt of Ksh 20 million.

He shared his thanks on social media, saying:

“HAPPY NEW YEAR Watu Wangu! Ni Mwaka Mpya Wa Faraja Sana Kwangu, Mwanzo Niwashukuru Record Label Ya Champion Studios Kwa Kunirudishia Accounts Zangu. Asante Sana Boss Kevin, Boss Brian na Meneja Kenrelbis. Pili asanteni Sana Kunisamehea Deni Ya 20 Million Ksh. I’ll forever be grateful.”

In a conversation with Mpasho, Ken Relbis, the former artist’s manager and a music business executive at Champions Studios, revealed that the decision to forgive the debt came after honest discussions with B Classic.

“As Ken Relbis, I believe in second chances and the power of reconciliation. B Classic reached out to Champion Studios with sincerity, taking full accountability for breaching our agreement. After meaningful talks and his heartfelt request for forgiveness, along with Kevin, our investor’s approval, we felt it was the right thing to do,” he explained.

Relbis added, “Champion Studios has shifted focus from the label business, but we remain committed to supporting growth and fostering positive relationships in the industry. I wish B Classic nothing but success moving forward.”
