Andrew Kibe Sparks Debate with Claims That Women Shouldn’t Be Financially Independent
Controversial media personality Andrew Kibe has once again stirred controversy with his views on women and financial independence.
In a recent interview with Utata Entertainment, Kibe argued that men should question why they are in relationships, claiming that having a woman in one’s life signals an underlying issue.
“If you have a woman, there’s something wrong with you. You need to address that. What need is she fulfilling?” he stated.
Kibe: Women Should Only Earn from Their Men
The self-proclaimed masculinity coach dismissed the idea of women making their own money unless it comes directly from their men. He argued that if a woman is employed elsewhere, her employer holds authority over her rather than her partner.
“If she’s earning, then she’s not truly yours. If I employ her, I’m the one giving you access to her. A woman should only make money from her man, and he should take the bigger share.”
‘Equality is a Scam’ – Kibe’s Take on Gender Roles
Kibe also rejected the concept of gender equality, claiming it is an illusion. According to him, men and women have distinct roles, and a woman’s primary purpose is motherhood, not marriage or career aspirations.
“Equality is a scam. Where have you ever seen it? Women aren’t meant to be creative; they are meant to give birth.”
Kibe Reflects on His Past Regrets
During the interview, Kibe reflected on his past struggles, attributing some of his challenges to his upbringing. He revealed that he lived in his mother’s house until nearly 30, a decision he now regrets.
He also admitted that getting married was a mistake, stating that he stayed in the marriage for four years before realizing he needed to focus on his self-discovery.
Over the years, Kibe has built a reputation for making bold and often divisive statements on relationships, gender roles, and masculinity. He has two children from his past marriage.
