Sharing his story on his podcast with artists, Benzema and Murasta, Kibe, who had kept his story secret for more than 13 years, was able to open up after realizing he was not alone.
He recalled how the then-influential and powerful man at Ngara estate who molested children behind closed doors was the same man supposed to change an 18-year old Kibe’s life.
Revelation
On a fateful day, Kibe’s mom took him to meet someone at the government office to help him secure a job but sadly;
The guy who molested us when we were kids is sitting on the table and my mum is telling me he is supposed to give me a job and change my life.
Kibe was no longer the 5-year old kid who was powerless and answered to the guy’s demands, this time, he told him off.
I told her [Kibe’s mom] I don’t want to talk to this guy or be next to this guy. She didn’t understand it, I never told her what happened. But when I talked about it in the changing room to my friends, they had experienced something similar.
A story not even his mom was privy to back in the days, one that disturbed him for years before he could finally let go and tell of his story.
The one question is; Why?
Listen to Benzema and Murasta’s stories – one falsely accused, the other a rape survivor.
