Alfred Mutua Is Not Over Lillian Ng’ang’a

I think we can all agree that Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua is not over his ex-wife (common law marriage), Lillian Ng’ang’a and his recent interview with Jalang’o showed as much. While talking to the Kiss 100 personality, he had this to say:

“We have agreed with Lillian that we do not address these issues. *Blah blah blah* And it is very important in relationships that you respect each other, when you’re together, when you’re not together. And to also leave room for reconciliation. Blah blah blah.”

That one statement says it all and we can call it a day and end the opinion piece here. Or perhaps what we should do is go into looking at why Alfred Mutua is so smitten despite all the rumours swirling around about his insatiable appetite for bedroom gymnastics and how he would pursue that gratification at the expense of his marriage.

You see, Lillian Ng’ang’a has done something that often breaks men such as Bwana Governor; she rejected him. And this has, in his mind at least, only inflated her mystique.

Think about it, a man with as many options as Alfred Mutua has, a man whose rejection was met by a rush of women sending messages to his social media direct messages that are of a sexually-explicit nature is not accustomed to rejection.

And the one woman he thought was his has shown him that indeed, it was just his turn. And Lillian Ng’ang’a oh so obviously initiated the breakup. So he is left pining for her and trying to win her over and failing. That would drive anyone crazy.

Alfred Mutua is no exception. And then to see that she has already moved on barely 2 months after their relationship came to a head is just the stuff of TV soap operas. Mind you they have been a couple for more than a decade. Yet it only took her 2 months to replace him -if the gossip linking her to Juliani is to be believed.

I just hope he does not simp any further than making her the guest of honour at his birthday party or even try to make her his inspiration or continue calling her “honey”. That is the only way he will allow himself to heal from his separation from Lillian Ng’ang’a.
