Former KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua is one happy man to announce his new role as Chief Executive Officer of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) by the Board of Directors. According to MCSK Board Chairperson Lazarus Muli, Mutua’s role at the role takes effect March 25, 2022.
This new role will see Ezekiel Mutua work, support and push local music after years of local artistes complaining about royalties among other problems facing the music industry. According to the statement shared to announce his new role, we understand that Dr Ezekiel Mutua emerged top among the candidates who were interviewed for the position.
Dr. Mutua’s appointment follows rigorous competitive interviews in which he emerged top among the candidates who were interviewed for the position.
