Akothee Warns Fans Against Taking Random Pictures With Her In Public (Screenshot)
Akothee is feeling the affliction of becoming one of the most popular and influential female celebrities in the country. The mother of 5, who doubles up as a business woman and a musician; is the most followed female musician in Kenya after Tanasha Donna.
This explains how influential Akothee is; and that’s why several endorsements end up with her.
However, seems like there’s also a disadvantage that comes with being famous.
Akothee is not free to mingle in public. And on a particular occasion, she got pissed by one of her fans who recorded her.
She shared the incident on her Instagram;
‘Someone tell me why some fans would meet you in a shop, not say hi or one word. Pretend like they have not seen you! Then immediately take out their phones and start recording you and taking photos.
When you notice them they hide. I almost went physical with one who became very rude to my sister in-law who caught her with a whole movie of me and my family shopping.”
Akothee continued to admonish her fans that she won’t be taking random photos with her fans this year, stating her regret of becoming a celebrity.
”I regret the day I became famous,this bulshit ain’t getting funny, Even with my neck support and funny face ,some people would still insist on a selfie ???? Eeee
Is this really love ama ni kitu sijui ?
Sometimes I am in pain and just pushing a little bit of life! Spare me the impromptu photos PLEASE!
I KNOW YOU LOVE EVIDENCE! NGOJENI KIDOGO.
