Akothee threatens people still linking her to her husband Denis Schweizer

Akothee, a popular Kenyan singer, has warned anyone who associates her with her Swiss husband, Denis Schweizer, that she will take legal action against them. She made this statement during a live session on her Facebook account on October 17, 2023.

“If you dare to call me Schweizer, I will take you to court for defamation of character,”

Akothee has been married to Schweizer for several years, but they have recently separated. In her live session, she said that she wants to keep her personal life private and that she does not want to be associated with Schweizer in any way.

Akothee also revealed that she has been seeking therapy for emotional abuse. She said that she started therapy after she realized that she was breaking down often and that she was emotionally unstable. She expressed gratitude to her close friends, family, and best friend, Nelly Oaks, for their support during her difficult time.

“I started by monitoring my behaviors. I realised I was breaking down quite often for no reason, even during simple interviews. I had become emotionally unstable, and I couldn’t pinpoint the cause. I only learned about emotional abuse after starting therapy,”
