Akothee finally discloses the reason behind the end of her marriage with Mzungu Bae, Mr. Omosh

Kenyan artist, brand influencer, and CEO of Akothee Safaris, Akothee, has finally revealed the true reason she ended her marriage with her Mzungu boyfriend, Mr. Omosh Schweizer.

In an emotional radio interview, Akothee explained that the turning point in their relationship occurred when she found out that Omosh had been hiding a health condition from her.

“Yale ambayo niliyagundua baadaye yalikua ni mambo ambayo singeweza kuketi nayo kwa sababu alinificha na kule kunificha ndiko kuliniumiza nikasema, kama umenificha kwa wakati huu ni mangapi utanificha na nitakua ninakuamini vipi,” Akothee stated.

The discovery deeply affected her, leading to the realization that she could no longer trust him. She made the difficult decision to end their relationship because his secrecy over important matters had broken the trust they had built as partners.

“Na kile kilifanya niachane naye ni kwamba hakuniambia ukweli wake wa ndani kwamba alikua na health challenges… hizi maugonjwa za akili alikua ako na Bipolar… aliponiambia nikamwambia mbona hukuniambia nikajiabisha mbele ya watu,” Akothee shared.

While Akothee acknowledged the sensitive nature of mental health issues, she expressed disappointment that Omosh hadn’t trusted her enough to be open about his struggles. She stressed that honesty and trust are the cornerstones of any relationship, and his lack of transparency made her reevaluate their partnership.
