Actor Makokha Lays His Wife To Rest

Alphonse Makokha, the renowned Kenyan actor, bid farewell to his wife as she was laid to rest in Lang’ata cemetery. Makokha had previously revealed the arduous journey they faced battling his wife’s illness, cancer, which had taken a toll on their finances over the span of 18 years. His wife’s passing deeply saddened many Kenyans, who hold Makokha dear to their hearts.

The funeral service saw Makokha surrounded by friends who offered glowing tributes to his late wife, Purity. Clad in black shades, Makokha sat beside his young daughter and Ondiek Nyuka Kwota, a longtime friend and fellow actor from their days on Vioja Mahakamani.

Notable figures from Kenyan television, including Mama Kayai from Vitimbi, Lavender from Inspector Mwala, and Kawira from Papa Shirandula, were also in attendance to pay their respects.

During his tribute, Makokha expressed his deep love for his wife and the immense void her absence would leave in his life.
