A top Ugandan police official has recommended that Shakib consider taking legal action against Zari Hassan

Shakib Lutaaya Cham, a businessman, has been advised to pursue legal action against his wife, Zari Hassan, due to ongoing issues in their relationship.

Jackson Mucunguzi, a senior police officer in Uganda, suggested via the platform X that Shakib should file a lawsuit against Zari for ‘domestic economic and psychological abuse.’ Mucunguzi emphasized that if Shakib asserts his rights, such a case could be brought before the Ugandan legal system, particularly within the Child and Family Protection Department.

The tension between Shakib and Zari has escalated following Zari’s decision to host her former partner, Diamond Platnumz, in South Africa for their daughter Latifah Dangote’s birthday. Shakib, who is also known as Cham, stated that Zari’s actions have caused him significant embarrassment and adversely impacted his mental health.

In response, Zari, who appeared to be under the influence, denied inviting Platnumz, asserting that he is no longer a concern as they have been separated for years. She also told Shakib that she cannot enforce rules in their relationship due to his limited contributions.
