Nicholas Biwott’s family deliberately omits vital information from his obituary
Total Man was a mysterious man, only a handful of his friends in the cabinet knew where he stayed at the height of his power. And his family is keen to see this remains the same even in his death.
Biwott is said have lived in paranoia for the better part of his life as a public servant in various dockets. This thanks to his involvement in the mysterious deaths of opponents of the Kanu regime, high-level corruption and poor human rights record.
Apparently Total Man never travelled in one vehicle for a long distance, rarely ate in public and if he did so he ate food served for ordinary citizen, and very few people knew where he stayed and at the height of his power
And now even in his death details about his private life still remains mysterious. Biwott’s family has omitted vital information from his obituary.
The names of family members including his parents, wives, children and grand children are missing in the obituary which was published on local daily.
There is also no mention of where Biwott’s body will be laid to rest. Many people still believe he will be buried in Chebior village, Keiyo District where he was born.
