Bafu chafu! Willis Raburu narrates his ordeal with a corporate con guy (Photos)

Sometimes in June 2018, Willis Raburu took part in a challenge to climb 33-storey UAP Old Mutual Tower in upper hill Nairobi.

Raburu announced that he would climb 31 storeys using the stairway. The campaign dubbed #VerticalChallengeKe was well publicized on social media.

Conned

Willis Raburu recently took to social media to announce that he was conned by a man called Eric Kibe who approached him to take part in the Vertical Challenge.

Raburu explains that Eric Kibe was the intermediary between Old Mutual and him. He accepted to take part in the challenge even before being paid the deposit first because he trusted the ‘corporate guy’.

Raburu says Eric Kibe has refused to keep his end of the bargain and has since resorted to insults and hiding under the corporate veil.
