No exposing skin! Jokate Mwegelo seeks a new beginning on social media after being appointed DC

Jokate Mwegelo landed plum government job thanks to her loyalty to the ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), she served as deputy secretary (Mobilisation) in the CCM youth wing prior to the appointment.

For starters, Jokate dated both Alikiba and Diamond Platnumz. She was in a relationship with Kiba for a long time and everybody actually thought she was the girl the singer would marry.

On Saturday July 28th President John Magufuli awarded CCM loyalists with plum government jobs. Jokate was appointed District Commissioner for Kisarawe, Coast Region.

Jokata has since wiped clean her Instagram page days after taking office. She used to pose titillating photos but now her job requires her to be ‘decent’.

Regret dumping Jokate

Meanwhile last Friday Diamond Platnumz said he regrets dumping Jokate. The singer cheated on Wema Sepetu with Jokate then he dumped Jokate and rushed back to Wema.

“Jokate was very innocent and never did anything wrong to me. I put her through a lot of trouble and created a perception in peoples mind that she was a bad girl who had snatched me from Wema (Sepetu).

“Truth is I’m the one who pursued her. I dated her then broke up with her without a reason and run back to Wema. To date I don’t know why I left her, maybe I was bewitched because she did nothing wrong. She is hard working and has built a career for herself. She is still my friend but every time she visits I feel ashamed of the situation. I still feel bad about it,” Diamond narrated during an interview.
