Capital FM presenter Walubengo quits yet again just months after she joined the station

Radio presenter Laura Walubengo has left Capital FM for the second time. The popular presenter who also worked as head of Capital FM’s Digital Media, left the station just seven months after rejoining.

Her colleague Amina Abdi Rabar who co-hosts the Capital Breakfast alongside Maqbul, broke the news after she wished a happy birthday, followed by the exit message.

“Laura’s last day at @capitalfmkenya bye my love & happy birthday @laurawalubengo Outfit @house_of_hussam,” read Amina’s post.

Moves

Her move comes barely a week after another Capital FM employee, Wanjira Longauer, left the station. Walubengo worked at Capital as a presenter before she left for South African firm Multi Choice in 2014, and became the Lead Digital Communications Specialist East Africa for DStv Kenya.
