Business brought to a standstill as Diamond storms airport with hundreds of fans to welcome Rayvanny back home (Video)
Rayvanny flew back to Dar es Salaam yesterday after winning the coveted BET award in USA. The singer was received by hundreds of fans upon touchdown.
Rayvanny became the third celebrity from East Africa to win BET award, Lupita Nyong’o (Best Actress 2014) and Eddy Kenzo (Viewer’s Choice Best New International Artist 2015) are the other celebs from East Africa who have won BET award.
Rayvanny scoped 2017 Best International Viewers Choice Award to become the first Tanzanian to win BET award. The singer’s mentor – Diamond Platnumz organized a welcome party for him yesterday June 28th.
Diamond, Harmonize and other Wasafi bigwigs stormed Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar with hundreds of fans to pick Rayvanny who touched down from the US.
Ray was driven through the streets of Dar in a convertible Audi that enabled him to display the BET award he won. Watch the video below:
