Former Ebru TV screen siren Doreen Gatwiri joins NTV news team
Doreen Gatwiri has been missing from our screens since November 2017 when she quit Ebru TV. The eye candy has since landed a lucrative job at NTV.
Gatwiri left Ebru TV and took a seven month hiatus from television. She was however living large for the months she was out of employment.

Nimrod Taabu’s replacement
Gatwiri has now joined NTV’s Swahili news desk to replace Nimrod Taabu who quit the Kimathi street-based media house to join Citizen TV.
Doreen Gatwiri is the second female news anchor after Olive Burrows to join NTV following mass exit of journalists including Larry Madowo, Victoria Rubadiri, Jamila Mohammed, Nimrod Taabu etc.
Gatwiri is a trained lawyer who chose journalism over a career in law. Her career in media started in 2016 when she started working for Ebru TV.
