Victor Wanyama speaks Luhya during interview with news anchor

Victor Wanyama is ‘born Nai’, the Tottenham Hotspur defensive midfielder however hasn’t lost touch with his Luhya roots.

Harambee Star’s captain Victor Wanyama was born and raised in Nairobi. There is a perception out there that most Nairobi born only speak sheng and English. But not Victor Wanyama.

The Tottenham player who hails from Busia County, was able to speak Luhya during a brief interview with Bamba Sport anchor Nick Mudimba.

Wanyama was at Gelian Hotel in Machakos after training with the national team at Kenyatta stadium when Nick decided to inquire whether the ‘born Nai’ could speak some Luhya.
