Kanze Dena bids her late dad goodbye as they finally laid him to rest!
Citizen TV’s Swahili news anchor Kanze Dena lost her dad about a week ago as revealed on her Instagram page. She described him as a leader and a man who had raised both her and her siblings in the best possible way.
Being the second parent she was losing, Kanze Dena could not hold back from promising both her late parents that she will take care of her siblings – being the eldest.

Through her Instagram page, Kanze Dena eulogized her dad by saying;
“Dad and Mum… Thank you for everything…I KNOW YOU WATCHING OVER ME…. AS I WATCH OVER MY SIBLINGS…I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE HALF THE GREAT PEOPLE YOU WERE……SHOES TOOOO BIG TO FILL….. You will always be in my heart…ana miss zaid… . I love you……’Naam tuonane mtooni watakatifu kwetu mtoni… Tutakusanyika mtooni kwenye Kiti cha Enzi….’#RIP #thatseasonagain #itiswelll,”
President Uhuru’s condolences message to Kanze Dena’s late dad
Being a community leader and a man who helped many, Kanze Dena’s dad Mr Stephen Kitao was also known by the president. After learning about his untimely death Uhuru Kenyatta eulogized him in the message below:
“It is with grief and a deep sense of loss that I learnt of the death of Mr Stephens and I convey my deep sympathies and heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives and friends,”
