MP Ronald Karauri Draws Public Attention Over Alleged Relationship with Tanzanian Socialite Nana Dollz
Kasarani MP and SportPesa CEO Ronald Karauri is facing intense online scrutiny after being romantically linked to Tanzanian socialite Nasma Hassan Athumani, popularly known as Nana Dollz.
Speculation was first fueled by photos showing Nana in what appeared to be the MP’s luxurious home. Online sleuths quickly began comparing furniture, décor, and architectural details to images previously shared by Karauri, concluding she was indeed inside his residence.
Adding to the buzz, videos later emerged allegedly showing the pair on romantic outings—further intensifying chatter across social media platforms.
After days of silence, Nana addressed the rumors in an interview with Tanzanian blogger Carrymastory, confirming that she is in a relationship with Karauri. She emphasized that their relationship began after Karauri had separated from his wife.
“I haven’t been kept by any man. I’m not someone who dates multiple men at the same time. I’ve only had one man—the MP I posted,” she said.
“When we started dating, he was not with his wife. He had already moved on and was living alone. The house I posted from is his private residence, not one he shares with anyone else.”
Nana also denied the narrative that she’s chasing fame or exploiting the MP for financial gain. While she admitted Karauri provides monthly support, she stated she’s financially independent and actively investing in construction projects.
“Since I met him, I’ve never been with another man. Even before him, I was with my child’s father for three years. I’ve never met a man as smart and sharp as my boyfriend.”
“We’ve been together for nearly a year and a half. He could be with anyone he wants—but he chose to stay with me. That says everything.”
Karauri, a former commercial pilot turned influential businessman and politician, has generally maintained a low-profile personal life, with no major public scandals tied to his name.
“He’s an MP. A man people respect. He lives his life quietly. So to paint him as someone involved in a messy love triangle is just absurd,” Nana said.
“He told me we owe no one an explanation. But I had to speak up—because that’s not who I am.”
