Terence Creative and his wife, content creator Milly Chebby, have spoken candidly about a cheating scandal that shook their marriage in 2019.

The couple, who have been together for over a decade and share a daughter, formalized their union in a traditional Chaik ceremony in October 2023. Now, years after the controversy, Milly has shared more insights into the affair and how they worked through it.

In 2019, Terence was embroiled in a cheating scandal that made headlines across Kenya. Though the identity of the woman involved was initially unclear, the comedian publicly admitted to his actions and issued an apology to Milly.

Reflecting on the situation in a past interview with K24, Terence expressed deep regret:

“I felt terrible. I sat down and realized I had messed up. I even dragged her into something she did not deserve. It is sad how society reacts to these things. You don’t just wake up and throw away seven years of marriage.”

The betrayal left their marriage in turmoil, with Milly struggling to process her emotions. However, she ultimately chose to forgive him, and the two began rebuilding their relationship.

Milly Chebby Reveals More Details

Fast forward to 2025, and Milly is shedding new light on the affair. Speaking on The Ruih Family YouTube channel, she disclosed that Terence had been involved with another Kalenjin woman, a revelation that added another layer of pain to the ordeal.

“Our biggest challenge was cheating. It was a public scandal all over Kenya, and it hit hard—especially because it involved someone from Rift Valley.”

She recounted how she discovered the betrayal through messages and how the more information she uncovered, the angrier she became.

“I found messages on his phone. I don’t even know if it continued or if there was blackmail involved. But I was furious. The more I found out, the angrier I got. At some point, I told myself, ‘I need to confront this,’ but eventually, we worked through it.”

Despite the heartbreak, Milly chose forgiveness—a decision that Terence says profoundly changed his outlook on marriage and responsibility.

How They Handle Conflict in Their Marriage

Like many couples, Milly and Terence have different approaches to resolving disagreements. Milly admits that Terence tends to avoid confrontation rather than addressing issues immediately.

“He runs away. I can’t chase him… I always know he’ll come around. The longest he’s ever been away was a week, and that was during a particularly intense situation.”

Terence acknowledged his tendency to withdraw, explaining that he prefers to let tensions cool before engaging in discussions.

“I love peace, that’s why I walk away. When emotions are high, things can escalate—you might say something hurtful or act out in anger. So I prefer to step away, let things settle, and return later—sometimes with a mediator.”

Despite past challenges, the couple remains committed to their marriage, proving that healing and growth are possible even after public scandals.
