Renowned Kenyan journalist, lawyer, and businessman Ken Mijungu has joined Radio 47, marking a new chapter in his illustrious media career. Mijungu’s move comes after his departure from KTN News in February 2025, where he served as a news anchor and current affairs host for four years.

Mijungu brings over a decade of experience to Radio 47, having worked at some of Kenya’s leading media houses. His career began with reporting experience at CCTV Africa, followed by a stint at MediaMax Network Ltd. He then spent several years at Nation Media Group (NTV), where he rose to become a Senior Reporter and hosted “Sidebar,” a popular political talk show featuring discussions with prominent figures.
