In the video, Trudy interviews Kimani, who initially seems surprised to be filmed and seeks confirmation that the recording isn’t live. Once reassured, he opens up about his feelings on being sent back to rehab.

Kimani admits feeling energized but confused about the situation. He expresses a deep longing to return to his house in Thika, saying, “I’m energized. I don’t know why we are here, what time it is, or even how I feel. Honestly, I don’t care. I just want to go back to my house in Thika and stay there forever.”
Carrying a Heavy Burden
During the interview, Kimani reveals that his desire to go home stems from the emotional weight he is carrying. He also mentions being accompanied by a supportive friend.
Journey to Rehab
The video follows the journey of Kimani, accompanied by his father, two brothers, Oga Obinna, and Obinna’s security officer Victor Munez, to Mathare Teaching and Referral Hospital. The team’s drive along Thika Road is documented, with Trudy narrating events as they approach the hospital.

Kimani’s father had previously discussed his son’s condition with Oga Obinna in an earlier interview, leading to the decision to readmit him to rehab. Trudy notes that Kimani had initially been scheduled to travel to Mombasa, but the trip was postponed in favor of prioritizing his treatment.
A Heartbreaking Situation
Victor Munez, Oga Obinna’s bodyguard, shared his thoughts on Kimani’s struggles, describing the situation as heartbreaking. He revealed that Obinna had offered Kimani a job, but his health issues have delayed the opportunity.
“We’re praying for him to heal quickly. Kimani is important, and we all need him. Even you need him—he’s your godfather. The boss had promised him a job, but for now, we just hope for the best,” Munez said.
He also urged Kenyans to withhold judgment and instead offer their prayers and support to Kimani during this difficult time.
