Planned Power Maintenance Schedule for January 14, 2025

The electricity provider has announced planned power maintenance affecting several regions across the country on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. The scheduled outages are aimed at improving service delivery and infrastructure. Power interruptions will occur from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the following areas:

Central Rift Region

Bomet County:

• Affected Areas: Parts of Siongiroi Feeder, including Cismara Hotel, Kenya Forest Offices, Rhinos Restaurant, Bomet Water, Kyogong Secondary, and surrounding areas.

North Eastern Region

Kiambu County:

1. Tola, Bob Harris, Ngoigwa, Metro, Tibs, Compuera:
   • Includes Tola, Kiahuria Shopping Center, Metro, parts of Ngoingwa, Compuera, Muiri, Albizia, Vincentian, Kiahuria, and nearby locations.
2. Evergreen and Gitamaiyu:
   • Includes Evergreen Estate Mugumo, Marion Schools, Kigutha Farm, Barista Gardens, St. Anthony School, Kenton Hotel, Gitamaiyu Village, and adjacent areas.

North Rift Region

Nandi County:

• Affected Areas: Maraba, Kibwareng, Kaptumek, Samitui, and nearby locations.

Mt. Kenya Region

Nyeri County:

• Affected Areas: Major Seminary, Njeng’u, Eunice Academy, Our Lady of Lourdes School, Embassy, Thathua, Mukanya, Cult Estate, and surrounding customers.

Coast Region

Kilifi County:

• Affected Areas: Parts of Mwango, Mtondia, Mzongoloni, Chumani, Tezo, Arabuko Secondary, Baguo, Michombo Matsangoni, Gede, and adjacent areas.

Mombasa County:

• Affected Areas: Bombolulu and parts of Bamburi, including Kwa Bulo, Bombolulu Estate, Bandari Villas, Mwatamba Police Station, Mwembeni Stage, Little Sisters Hotel, Vescon 1, Amani Estate, and nearby locations.
