Chebet, who has been absent from social media, has previously shared her struggles with depression. Her situation reportedly worsened after being introduced to a supposed cult by friends.

Addressing the speculation, Njambi took to her social media to set the record straight and reassure fans:
“We’ve been receiving many questions about Chebet. That is not her. Please don’t believe the fake bloggers spreading false rumors to gain attention. Chebet is okay. Let’s respect her and her family’s privacy and give them peace of mind.”
Njambi’s clarification came after a blogger aired an interview with a man claiming to be Chebet’s boyfriend.
Chebet’s Past Revelations
In 2024, Chebet opened up on Instagram about unknowingly involving herself in spiritual practices that had unintended consequences. Reflecting on her journey, she expressed regret:
“Life has been moving so fast… I’m not sure if I’ll be okay by the end of the day, but I’ve found myself in a situation I can’t easily undo. Life is spiritual, and in my search for peace of mind, I connected with the wrong energies. To those I’ve hurt, I’m truly sorry, and to those who supported me, thank you. I made new friends who were on a completely different path and got involved in things I didn’t expect. I don’t think this will end well.”
Chebet further disclosed that she had been pressured into silence and revealed disturbing details about her initiation into a cult:
“The story I shared about being recorded was all spiritual… Someone wanted me to leave town and go to Kericho to participate in activities I didn’t fully understand. For months, my mind felt clouded. It began when I visited the hospital. My family and doctors thought I was hallucinating, but I had unknowingly tapped into the wrong spiritual realms due to an addiction I struggled with. People say marijuana is harmless, but it’s essential to surround yourself with the right company and avoid isolation. Be cautious of who you take photos with—many innocent people are drawn into spaces they don’t belong.”

Chebet also spoke about spiritual dangers, claiming her voice and energy had been manipulated:
“My mind was used to open a portal in Kericho… Some of you know I’ve been spiritually threatened and silenced. For those who are energetically sensitive, sometimes those voices are real.
