Mulamwah Displays Mercedes Benz Logbook to Refute Repossession Allegations
Digital content creator and radio presenter David Oyando, popularly known as Kendrick Mulamwah, has addressed circulating rumors claiming his Mercedes Benz was repossessed due to an unpaid loan.
Taking to Instagram, Mulamwah shared the logbook for his car, issued by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA), to dismiss the allegations. He also posted photos of his Mercedes Benz alongside images of his mansion, which is currently under construction.
The father of three clarified that his intention was not to show off but to celebrate his progress and inspire others.
“Just because it’s difficult doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Let’s learn to appreciate everyone’s efforts and celebrate their milestones. Always be proud of your small steps in life. We don’t post to brag or compete; we post to show that situations can change and you can rise from nothing to something.
“Bora bidii na God mbele (as long as there’s hard work and faith in God). Always take it as motivation, not an attack, because the cake is too big for everyone. Move slowly but move correctly. Let the year begin. Much love, Team Konki. For those who want to dig for dirt, the floor is yours,” Mulamwah posted on the evening of January 9, 2025.
Mulamwah also stated that he would no longer entertain or respond to social media rumors about him, explaining that no matter what he shares, critics always find something negative to say.
“If you post a Benz, you’re bragging and showing off. If you post about bananas, you’re embracing poverty. What should we do, people? They say it’s on loan, then when you post the logbook, they claim you’re proving something. I won’t address any more rumors,” he wrote.
Revenue Streams
The content creator further detailed his multiple income sources, which include his motorbike business, YouTube earnings, event bookings, endorsements, voice acting, farming, and his role as a presenter on Milele FM.
“Mulamwah’s income sources: over 40 bikes, Skiza tunes (over 100 pieces), YouTube monetization, endorsements, voice artistry, Red Dot Ent/Mulamwah Ent, acting and film appearances, monetized skits, Milele FM presenter, event bookings, stand-up comedy, international relations, farming, and prayers from the entire village,” he humorously noted.
Saving Discipline
On December 16, 2024, Mulamwah revealed that he had successfully saved Ksh1.1 million over the year through a disciplined daily savings challenge. Starting on December 15, 2023, he set aside Ksh3,000 daily, demonstrating how small, consistent savings can accumulate into a significant amount.
“God is great – Ksh3,000 per day savings challenge completed for 2024. Started on December 15 last year, saving little by little. How much have you saved? If you haven’t started, let’s begin together for next year.
“It doesn’t matter how much—whether it’s 20, 50, 100, or 1k per day, it’s okay. Try to save money because it will always save you back,” he wrote.
