Amid recent controversies involving fellow artists Diamond Platnumz and Willy Paul, Tanzanian musician Harmonize has issued a stern warning to anyone planning to disrupt his upcoming performance in Uganda.

Taking to Instagram, Harmonize made it clear that he would not tolerate any interference at his show, expressing his intent to ensure it proceeds smoothly. He threatened to physically confront any Ugandan musician who attempts to cause drama, referencing a recent incident in Kenya.

Harmonize’s statement comes amid rising tensions in the East African music industry, particularly following the heated clash between Diamond Platnumz and Willy Paul at the Furaha City Music Festival in Nairobi on December 7, 2024. The event exposed ongoing grievances about the unequal treatment of Kenyan and Tanzanian artists, with Willy Paul accusing organizers of favoring Tanzanian performers.

In response to the controversy, comedian Eric Omondi voiced his concerns over the mistreatment of Kenyan artists, demanding better treatment and recognition. He highlighted issues such as lack of VIP access for Kenyan performers and unequal backstage amenities compared to international artists.
