Simon Kabu, CEO of Bonfire Adventures and Sarah’s husband, has responded to the controversy with a detailed statement. However, his response has raised more questions than provided answers.

In his statement, Simon emphasized that his decision to remain silent shouldn’t be interpreted as an admission of guilt.
“Silence is often the best response, but it can sometimes be misjudged as guilt. This message is for my children, loved ones, fans, and anyone who looks to me for guidance. I share this in good faith to clear the air,” he said.
Kabu clarified that the woman involved in the incident was his nanny, hired through formal channels.
“The woman in the video was hired as a professional nanny by my HR and GM after I provided the job description,” he explained.
He further detailed that the altercation occurred after the nanny had been employed for about a month without any previous issues.
“The incident took place that morning, and the lady was hurt. She reported the matter to Kiambu Police Station, and a case was filed. Some people even tried to label it as attempted murder,” Kabu recounted.

He mentioned that the situation was eventually resolved, with Sarah Kabu offering an apology.
Kabu also denied rumors of any inappropriate relationship with the nanny or any other woman.
“There are rumors about a woman being pregnant, but let me clarify—no woman, including this one, is carrying my child. Let’s stop tarnishing someone’s name,” he said.
