Comedian YY has firmly stated that he will not discuss the end of his common-law marriage to Marya Okoth.

In a recent phone interview with a local radio station, YY made it clear that he had no intention of sharing the reasons behind their separation.

“Honestly, even when you called, you knew this is one question you wouldn’t get an answer to. If you have airtime and want to talk, go ahead, but I won’t provide any answers. You know you won’t get an answer; even if you ask repeatedly, you’re wasting your time. You deserve a beating,” YY asserted.

Last weekend, Marya Okoth announced on Instagram that she and YY would no longer be recognized as husband and wife.

Without delving into specifics, Marya asked her followers to respect their privacy, stating that she was not ready to further discuss the breakup with YY.

Previously, in an interview on the Mic Check Podcast, Marya Okoth shared that she and YY had moved in together just an hour after their first meeting. She explained that after their first date, she moved into YY’s home, and they had been together ever since, sharing a three-year-old daughter named Circe Gaona.
