Addressing the issue on her social media platforms, the TikTok star asserted that the person in the videos and photos is a look-alike, not her. Murira urged her followers to fact-check the information, emphasizing that she is not the individual depicted in the viral content.

“It has come to my attention that there are pictures and videos circulating online purportedly showing me in compromising situations. I want to assure you that these images and videos are not of me. This is false information. After thorough investigation, I discovered that the individual in the video is someone else. Her name is Sameeha, and her Twitter handle is @sameeha10162,” Njoki wrote in part in a lengthy post shared on her Instagram stories.

She apologized to her fans and friends who might have been affected by the misleading narrative, emphasizing her commitment to maintaining their trust and respect.

“I encourage you to verify this information for yourselves. I sincerely apologize for any distress or confusion this may have caused. Your support means the world to me, and I am committed to maintaining your trust and respect. Thank you for understanding and standing by me,” she added.

Despite her clarifications, some netizens remain skeptical, urging her to take ownership of her actions and move forward.
