Sadia Said has unexpectedly withdrawn from the Miss World Kenya

Digital content creator and commercial model Sadia Said has announced her decision to withdraw from the Miss Universe 2024 competition just two months after it began.

Sadia, who had advanced to the top 30 finalists and was nearing the announcement of the top 20 contestants, shared her decision on her Instagram stories.

While she chose not to disclose her reasons for withdrawing, she expressed confidence in her decision, stating it was the best choice for her at this time.

“To all my friends and supporters, today I have a personal announcement to share with all of you who have been by my side, supporting me through my journey towards the @miss.universekenya competition.

After much consideration, I have decided not to continue my participation in the Miss Universe competition. This decision was not made lightly, and while I choose to keep the reasons private, please know that it is the best choice for me at this time,” she wrote.

Sadia thanked everyone who supported her, noting that their encouragement had boosted her self-confidence and love for her work.

She concluded by asking for privacy regarding her withdrawal’s specifics.
