Kenyans on Twitter are Fuming After Ruto’s Cabinet Announcement

Twitter bigwig Kimuzi opened up a Twitter space to get people’s opinions on the recently released Cabinet list. The list is covered below where there were 7 out of 20 Cabinet Secretaries who were recycled from the old Cabinet.

Kenyans on Twitter were apparently not happy about this and this is not a good sign, since it is them who sparked of the protests in the first place. The name of the Twitter Space itself was “RUTO IS A JOKER.” Here is what some had to say:

Hii maandamano ya one month imeenda zero. So we should not allow parliament to vet these people. We go occupy parliament again and again and again. That means 24/7 we occupy the streets, every day.

Another tweep agreed with this sentiment, saying

Hawa watu wanatupiga ufala sana. Na wamejua sisi tuko lenient. And the fact that tuko lenient, wanatake to their own advantage. Naweza support kenye huyo msee amesema. We occupy parliament daily, hawa wasee wasikuwe vetted.

A female tweep chimed in to express her displeasure with the announcment:

I don’t even know where to start. Ata naweza anza kukuwa na anger issues because every day hii gava it gets worse. And I just cried first ndio hiyo kitu initoke kwa chest. You can’t even understand how Ruto operates because this guy is a madman. Or he’s intentionally trying to piss us off. Tumekuambia usituwekee Murkomen, umetuwekea Murkomen. Even worse unaenda unaokota Joho huko unatuletea.
