Cera Imani’s gym session with Frankie sparks mixed reactions
Khalif Kairo’s ex, Cera Imani, is determined to get into the best shape of her life and has started working out with fitness influencer Frankie Kiarie, also known as Frankie JustGymIt.
The two can be seen exercising together on Frankie’s YouTube channel, where he captioned the video, “Weak in the knees.”
Cera, who has arthritis, shared how she has been dealing with the condition since class 7 and how cold weather exacerbates it. Frankie empathized, jokingly commenting on her “weak knees” as she demonstrated her sometimes clumsy walking style.
Cera mentioned that she usually works out at home but feels the need to intensify her workouts, prompting Frankie to invite her to join the gym. She groaned as she lifted 10kg weights, exclaiming, “I swear 10kgs is heavy. Isn’t it just like carrying a water container up the stairs? I even feel like the oil has run out,” which amused Frankie as he showed her proper weightlifting techniques.
Impressed by Frankie’s effortless lifting, Cera remarked, “Look at how effortlessly you are doing it. Jeez, can I be you?” Frankie responded with encouragement, “Come on. Don’t let the weight control you.”

Their banter continued as he urged her to lift the weights again. Despite struggling, Cera persisted, and they both laughed when she said, “Now I understand when you say people make moaning sounds in the gym. It comes unprovoked.”
Frankie offered a tip to make it easier, suggesting, “Start with your weaker side. So that when you do your strong side, it can only do as much as your weaker side.” Cera agreed, adding, “As women, I don’t know why after workouts we look at the mirror expecting instant results,” to which Frankie concurred.
