Platnumz Diamond: I’ve never been “dumped.”

Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz has recently made a surprising confession, revealing that he has never experienced being dumped by any of his former girlfriends.

In a candid interview on Wasafi media, the prolific artist disclosed his unconventional method of ending relationships, admitting that when he feels overwhelmed, he intentionally behaves in a hurtful manner to prompt his partner to leave.

“I’ve never been on the receiving end of a breakup. When I’m in a relationship and feel like my partner is encroaching on my space, I act out and do things to hurt her until she decides to end things,” he confessed openly.

Despite his history of high-profile relationships and being a father to four children, Diamond asserted that his ex-partners have always been more emotionally invested in him than he was in them.

But does his claim hold up under scrutiny?

Yes, it does, especially considering the well-documented instances from his past relationships that keen observers may recall.

For instance, Zari Hassan, Diamond’s first baby mama, famously ended their relationship on February 14th, 2018, with a dramatic post on Instagram where she accused him of infidelity.

And Zari wasn’t alone in this. Tanasha Donna, Diamond’s third baby mama, also parted ways with the singer after a brief romance in early 2020, citing his alleged unfaithfulness as the reason.

Adding to the list, Diamond’s recent relationship with his signee, Zuchu, also came to an end last week. This followed several embarrassing incidents orchestrated by the musician, leading many of Zuchu’s fans to urge her to leave him.

The final straw came when Diamond publicly embraced one of his former girlfriends during a live performance over the weekend.

As for whether he will change his behavior in future relationships, only time will tell.
