Commentator answers fans who attack his boyfriend for using CS to deliver
Kenyan YouTuber Commentator has addressed criticism from some fans directed at his partner, Moureen Ngigi, following her cesarean section (CS) delivery.
Despite being insensitive, certain fans insinuated that Moureen’s CS delivery somehow disqualified her from being considered a “proper” mother.
One netizen, Paulyne Ochieng, commented, “Comme. Siku Moh atajifungua normal labour pains 24 hours kujifungua kupata tears na kushonwa, hapo sasa ndio strong. Congratulations for your bundle of Joy.”
Commentator responded by pondering what criteria determine who qualifies as a genuine mother.
“Just a thought, guys. Does it mean if someone gives birth via C-section, she is less of a mother because she hasn’t experienced normal labor pains? I’ve been receiving so many comments on this, saying, ‘Oh, Moh doesn’t know she’s a mother yet because she had a CS.’ Like, stop it, guys. I’m sure most women undergo CS not by choice but due to unavoidable circumstances. Let’s respect all moms, whether they give birth normally or via CS.”
Commentator and his girlfriend Moureen Ngigi celebrated the birth of their first child on March 13.
To share the joyous news, the couple posted the following message on their respective platforms:
“On March 13th, at 9:45 am at Komarock Modern Healthcare, the Lord blessed us with our son @ceo_babys. This is the greatest day of my life, and I’m so proud to have shared it with my special human @moureenngigi_. The strength you showed has earned you an eternity of respect and love from me, Mama S♥️. I love you guys, and I’ll do everything to ensure you have the best life has to offer. Thank you to all the fans for the prayers, comments, and DM messages. I am humbled.”
Fans have extended their congratulations to the couple on the newest addition to their family.
