“The highest amount I’ve ever been paid was around Sh830,000. I can show proof if you doubt it,” Moya David told Obinna.

David explained the rationale behind his pricing, highlighting the unique circumstances of the request. He typically performs surprise events on weekends in Kenya, often juggling several bookings. This particular client, however, sought a five-day stay in Dubai, requiring David to forgo other potential local gigs.

To accommodate these needs, David developed tiered pricing packages that encompass his performance fee, videographer costs, accommodation, and security. These packages cater to both local and international clients, with prices starting at Ksh 29,000 within Nairobi and reaching $5,000 for international bookings. The most affordable packages even include additional offerings like a cake and gifts.
