Akothee Remains Positive Despite Ending Marriage With Omosh

On Monday, Kenyan musician and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, also known as Akothee, participated in a tree-planting exercise while wearing a short red dress. The singer, who has had a tumultuous personal life, shared a video of herself wearing the dress and revealed that it was one of many gifts she received at her wedding earlier this year.

In the video, Akothee expressed her gratitude to the person who gifted her the dress and acknowledged them for attending her wedding despite the way things ended. She said, “The beautiful girl in a red tiny dress. This was one of my wedding gifts. Thank you so much to the gifter, even though the game is over, I am still yours.”

Akothee’s appearance in the red dress comes just weeks after she confirmed that her short-lived marriage to Denis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer had ended. The 43-year-old artist confirmed the breakup of her marriage during a live session with her fans on social media.

During the live session, Akothee revealed that she ended her marriage in June while she and Omosh were still on their honeymoon. She said, “I have moved on from those relationships. They don’t exist anymore. I want to tell you that I got out of that relationship in June. However, I will not explain in detail.”

Despite the end of her marriage, Akothee maintains a positive outlook on the situation. She said, “I enjoyed my marriage, I enjoyed my wedding. I don’t regret anything. I had my wedding on my birthday, so if things went wrong, like they did, then I wouldn’t have any regrets.”
