Kenya Power Announces Planned Power Outages In 4 Counties On Thursday
The Kenya Electricity Distribution Company (KPLC) has announced planned power outages in several areas of four counties on Thursday, August 4, 2023. The affected counties are Nairobi, Nyandarua, Kilifi, and Mombasa.
In Nairobi, the following areas will be without electricity between 3:00 AM and 5:00 PM:
- Parts of Riverside
- Parts of Westlands Street
- Parts of Parklands Road
In Mombasa, the following areas will be without electricity between 3:00 AM and 5:00 PM:
- Parts of Tudor Street
In Kilifi, the following areas will be without electricity between 3:00 AM and 5:00 PM:
- Parts of Kokotoni
- Parts of Jimba
In Nyandarua, the entire town of Engineer will be without electricity between 3:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
KPLC has explained that the power outages are necessary for planned maintenance activities. Customers are advised to make necessary arrangements for the inconvenience caused.
