Dispute over a TV results in the death of a woman from Meru County.

A 40-year-old woman was killed in a fight with her ex-boyfriend over a television in Meru County, Kenya. The ex-boyfriend allegedly struck the woman in the head after she attempted to break into his home to sell his belongings. The woman suffered serious head injuries and died at the scene. The suspect is in custody and is scheduled to appear in court.

In Nyeri County, a 34-year-old man died from wounds he received in an assault. The man was brought to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The assailant is still at large.

In Vihiga County, a 59-year-old man died after complaining of pain. The man was found in his sister’s home without any obvious wounds. He had been brought home by a man who claimed to have found him on the road unable to get home on foot. The body was transferred to the mortuary to determine the cause of death. Police also discovered illegal narcotics in his pocket.
