Zuchu Responds To Claims Of Bleaching Her Skin
Tanzanian singer Zuhura Othman, better known by her stage name Zuchu, has denied allegations that she bleached her skin.
In a video posted on social media, Zuchu wore tiny shorts and a vest to show her natural skin tone. She also addressed the dark spots on her thighs, which she said are not the result of bleaching.
“I don’t bleach my skin,” Zuchu said. “I only use natural products to take care of my skin.”
“Hii video iendee watu wote mlionislender kuhusu skin yangu. Now as you can see hii ni video very pure haina filter yoyote nimeichukua directly from the camera. Hapa mwilini nimepaka mafuta ya nazi and this is my skin. I think my skin is perfectly fine,” Zuchu said.
She added that she is comfortable with her skin and does not care what others think.
“Mimi sio mdoli of cause I might have some few dark spots here (on her thighs) and there lakini that’s a work in progress,” she said.
She continued;
“Tofauti yangu mimi na nyinyi wengi wenu munahisi mtu kukua na skin mzuri mbaka achichubue. Tofauti yangu mimi na nyinyi I go through natural process kuheal my skin from any pigmentation, au uweusi, au kidonda, au kipele,” she added.
