‘I Could Barely Sleep’- Nana Owiti Narrates Facing A Tough Time During King Kaka’s Illness

Award winning rapper King Kaka is steadily recovering after an illness that saw him lose 33 kilograms in a few weeks. The rapper was mis-diagnosed and ended up being seriously ill for a period of 3 months.

Opening up about his situation, the rapper disclosed the scary details of his weight loss to fans;

”Dear Fans , it’s only right that I share this with you. I have been sick for 3 months 8 days now. I was misdiagnosed. Lost 33kgs and in the process we started hospital visits , did all the tests and they were Negative.”

On the other hand, his wife Nana Owiti was beside him through this difficult period. King Kaka praised her wife for being a wonderful partner; adding how she contributed greatly for his speedy recovery.

Nana has now revealed some gruesome details of King Kaka’s illness; stating that at some point they thought it was cancer.

”I don’t know how you slept so soundly to this day. Yaani we are testing for cancer in your body in the morning and you sleep throughout the entire night???!!”

Additionally, she divulged new details regarding King Kaka’s illness as she gushed over him;

”I look at you and I see endurance, patience, persistence, I see God.
I remember when the doc suggested we do the tumor markers test. He definitely had his reasons I mean you exhibited all the signs and that opened a whole Pandora’s box in my head. The tests were to be done the next morning. That night I could barely sleep..I lay in bed worried and doing one thing I’m always perfect at, overthinking. I woke you up in the middle of the night to kneel down and pray beside the bed. You obliged. Your knees weak so you put a pillow under..I don’t remember crying as much as I did as I prayed…I asked God for peace in my head and in my heart and a clean bill of your health instead He answered through you…”
