Popular Kenyan musician dies in grisly road accident (Photos)
Monday morning, netizens woke up to sad news of the passing on of one of Kenya’s popular artist following a horrific road accident.
Kalenjin highly celebrated musician Harmon Kipkirui Rono aka Rhino Superstar/Kaboom is reported to have died on the spot after a head-on collision with an oncoming Toyota Probox.

A road accident witnessed along Saos in Emining area, Baringo county on Sunday evening, according to an area police officer.
The 27-year old musician was riding on a motorbike that became a write-off, leaving the Probox a total wreck, with the front area completely crushed. However, its occupants, a man and his wife came out unhurt.
An area police officer came to pick the lifeless body from the scene and the body later taken to Baringo County hospital mortuary.

Sad goodbyes
Kipkirui Rono’s legacy in secular hit songs around the Rift Valley region will remain a major mark of the musician’s life on earth. Known for soothing tunes like Tilet ne Tilet, Criminal Chomtey, Monicah, among others.
Emotions have since ran high as disbelieving die-hard fans mourn a major loss in the entertainment industry.
He leaves behind a young wife and their child.
